I really think it's an embarassment to Parker to give Adam Dutkiewicz a model and not Deron Miller from CKY. I guarantee more people have bought parkers because of Deron than Adam, and Deron is inarguably a way better musician and player than metalcore-boy over here (and Deron also doesn't need session players for him.) Compare 5 seconds of a CKY song to 5 seconds of a killswitch engage song and tell me which one you've heard 1000 times before. I really thought a guitar company unlike the rest wouldn't endorse someone just like the rest. Thoughts?

Always better to complement your idol without trashing someone else's.

(BTW, I'm not a particular fan of either)

Do you know that Miller wants a model ? What specific features does he want in his model? What would it cost? Would it sell?

There are many things that go into an artist series besides popularity of the artist.

Parker has to decide whether its worth it for them to mass produce.

Deron plays p series guitars, the company has much less to lose on p series than the dragonfly. It's not a question of idols it's a question of giving models to the ones who deserve it.

Idols sell. That is the only reason to have an artist model.

People who "deserve it" play jazz that no one understands in relative obscurity and probable poverty.

Really, none of us deserves anything. We are just lucky to be here.

Point is, ask for support of your position without trying to trash someone who already got there. That strategy just weakens your argument, not helpful to it.

Good luck for whatever reason.

I'm a big cky fan, I would like to see a Deron Miller Custom cause he's been using them for years. Since 1998 I think. But anyway I really think it would sell because if you go onto youtube and type in "cky guitar cover" 75% of them have parkers just because of Deron. I really would like to buy a p model or a nitfly Parker, but I'd rather wait to get his custom. Parker makes really really good guitars, I do not own one but I have played a few and I am impressed. I know he has been waiting on his custom since 2003 this is just something I would like to see happen. He has a few prototypes made already that look really cool, I would definetaly buy one.

doesnt matter now..he's signed with Jackson Guitars. Lost a good artist there...and yet here I am wanting a Parker endorsement. I'd seriously snatch their arms off for one!
