Opening ceremonies were long yawns and serious snoozing interupted by moments of brilliance.

I loved the whales schooling through the floor.

The kid doing wire ballet through the cornfields was cool.

As far as music, Sarah McLachlan was great as always. Brian Adams and Nelly Furtado were so so...

But KD Lang singing Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen was sublime as always.

I have enjoyed watching the athletic performances so far as well.

Man that Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities on earth.

I have to get there some day.

Yeah that was annoying. Sometimes he would even have to rush to say the obvious just to beat the Olympics announcer to it.

I think the network just feels it would be a shame to let all that plastic surgery go to waste [:0]

And I really hate all the psuedo-controversy they try to stir up to make a story that's not really there or to try to wrongly dramatize a sentiment just to give their spokes zeros something to blab about.

Ya know, with all that sap flowing at the closing ceremonies, I was certain the Celine Deon would have sung.

I guess, if its over, you can't have a skinny lady sing [:D]

Vancouver is a beautiful city with lots of sights and things to do.
Within a hour drive you can be at the ocean or in the mountains or at Seattle.[:)]
