Parker Spare Parts Source
« on: February 23, 2010, 02:29:39 PM »
There is a new source for Parker guitar parts, old and new. Just went live today!

http://www.parkerspares.com/

It is run by the UK distributors, but they are offering parts for Parker guitars worldwide outside of the USA and will be adding parts to it every day.

This is cool. What I find most interesting is that the Fly parts listed on the site are pre-refined versions:

http://www.parkerspares.com/fly-guitars/4539035103
http://www.parkerspares.com/fly-guitars/4539121313
http://www.parkerspares.com/fly-guitars-p2/4539118246

Naturally, the NiteFly parts are the newer versions:

http://www.parkerspares.com/nitefly-guitars/4539122970

(Edited to reflect recent revisions to the site.)

Could they have found an old cash of early Fly parts? Or did they hand a parts book to their web guy with no idea of what they actually could or could not get.

First Line (who are selling the parts) have managed to source some of the last pre-refined Parker parts available. Lots of the Nitefly parts are those currently used on both Nitefly and Fly guitars so parts for refined guitars should never be an issue. Lots of us still own pre-refined guitars and wouldn't mind keeping them original, so the parts pictured are the actual parts supplied. As they run out, they will be taken off the website, but for now, everything on there is available.

It's been gone for a while now. Probably shut it down due to lack of business.

That "cosmichrome" paint is way cool - http://www.caguitarworks.co.uk/index.php/chrome-paint
I like it with another color over it, as in the blue guitar picture.

This site isn't available either.
Where do you get your parts now in Europe?
Can't find a regular sized (9 or 10) flat spring on ebay either.
Anyone left selling parts?

There are 9, 10 and 11 Parker flatsprings on Reverb right now.  The seller has had some listed for (at least) a couple of weeks.

I've purchased from him and all went smoothly (I am not affiliated with the seller).
