My Majik Blue P-42
« on: April 14, 2010, 10:00:32 PM »
Just got it today, and I am really impressed with how it sounds and plays, and it looks REALLY good. I picked it up off Ebay brand new for $300 shipped. This thing plays 10x better than all of my ESP/LTD's.

For some reason in the pics some of the hardware looks rusty but its not, it's just the lighting in the room

Majik is one of my very favorite colors.

(The "rust" may come from having incandescent lights on with the daylight balance of the flash and the camera's white-balance setting, which is often designated as "indoor" or "outdoor." With daylight balance settings, incandescent lights will make things look yellowish, flourescent light will add a greenish cast. Flash is always daylight-balanced, but in automatic mode, it will "back off" to use the ambient lighting, so you can get a mix of color balances in a shots like yours.)

That is a sharp instrument! It's only one of a few color variations on a P-42 other than Gray or Black that I've seen so far. My Metallic Gray P-42 screams when distortion is used. I love it! Be careful though, this is the beast that sent me toward the Fly line. It was "an offer I couldn't refuse." ;-}
