Parker PB61SP Hornet

I have a PB61SP and it says Hornet on the headstock can anyone tell me what that means?  My Serial number is08010995

it means it the top korean made parker bass, i have the 2 lower line hornets and i WISH i had a pb61sp...actually a 65sp would be more preferable(the five string version)...that spalted maple top with the gold hardware is to die for!

Are all PB61SP make in Korea?  Or is it based on the serial number?

Hey there...I have been using a Parker PB41SP for abouty 3 years now, it is solid, dependable, very nice tone. There is a dealer in Sudbury Canada that has a 5-string Hornet spalted, still new. He has pretty much sold off all the other Parker basses, just that one sitting there...it is a small town, where people are a bit more conservative, where Peavey and Fender seem to be favored.

Ask for Angelo. He is a smaller store, but deals with names such as Parker, Flaxwood, Breedlove, Egnater, Eden, etc...solid lines.
I purchased my PB41SP from him, very fair man.
