microphonic vibrato/bridge noise thru piezo
« on: September 25, 2005, 05:04:23 AM »
john, is there a way to eliminate the amplified  "thunk, spriong and rhar-rhar" sounds that are transmitted thru the piezos on my mid 90s deluxe and 2002 artist when ever i touch the bar or bridge?  It sounds like handling  an sm58 on an atlas stand through a sound system.  I use the vibrato bar with a piezo / humbuck blend.   With stereo pitch shifting into lower octaves it is pretty disturbing.  It seems future design changes could isolate the piezo.   Thank you
