The mute switch in a flyBOB sounds like the best way to me....

Hey! Uhm what is a FlyBOB?
This is now really getting interesting [:)]!

EDIT: Or I could make a "stereo mute box" between a TRS cable from the guitar and the Y-cord. Either one is possible, but the stereo one is a little harder to do because it's hard to find DPDT momentary stompbox style switches. But if a regular type switch would do, that's easily done.

EDIT #2: Or, as billy suggests, I could also incorporate a mute switch into a flyBOB.

It sure sounds like a 2FlyBOB with the second channel piezo disabled.

Hi Paul,
I tend to go for EDIT #2 but with the switch only for the piezo. These are passive device, right?

Yes, they are passive and I could put a mute switch on the piezo side only.

Hi Paul, kindly send me a quote. So just to be on the safe side: The Fly goes with a mono standard cable into the FlyBob. THere signals are split, so I connect the one out to my tuner (mag pups) which also mutes when activated, while the piezo out can be muted silently before hitting my active DI? Thanks, best
