Amazon Fly deal

Well, here it is. 2010 Fly Deluxe model dirt cheap from Amazon that Danjazzny tipped me off on. Cosmetically it's in perfect condition. Set up is good and low with no buzzes. Came in HSC. There are a couple of issues. Piezo vol pot is all the way up(internal/ext pots) and still low volume. Battery is fine. The jack may be the culprit. I think I'm gonna have to replace it. If you touch the guitar plug while it's in the jack the sound cuts in and out. Also, I don't think the frets were polish/sanded past 1000grit. Because there is a scratchy feel when doing vibrato(or bending) on a string coming from the fret beneath it. Maybe that's why it was so cheap? Overall I can deal/fix (with) these things and I am happy with my new Fly.

I'd really like to hear Terry's comment on how it is possible that guitars in the 1000-3000 USD range can leave the factory in anything, but perfect working order? Are these just rare, non-significant exceptions from the norm we witness here in the forum?

Unacceptable for something sold as new, no matter the price.

Greetings...

Just to update the issues I had. I sent it back. I decided not try and fix these things and more. My Nitefly guitars are more than adequate.

Three words...US MUSIC CORP....they are like Honey and Tyco Fire & Security they gobble all the little guys up to put
them under their corporate umbrella and don't actually improve the product. Ken would of never let that guitar leave the factory.
