 :) yup, age is a pain, especially in this business.  his playing is starting to be affected, imo, at times.  still, he does it for me, i think more than any other current players.  eric gales, thou, he can be great.

I really like Eric Johnsons feel and tone. He's such a tone hound that it only seems fair he gets mentioned time and again.

After years of not being able to, I finally got to see (and listone to) him last year, and while it was good, it wasn't great. Though I heard it was the first show of the european tour and there were some obvious problems with the dirty tone amps he had set up. I know that would have messed up my evening too, if I played.

Either way. The man is a source of inspiration! *thumbs up!*
