A recording project with 3 parker parts
« on: May 02, 2011, 10:01:18 AM »
Hi folks,

I thought I'd post up a link to a recording I've worked on that features my Fly Mojos.

This is a collaboration I've worked on via kompoz.com.

This is a work in progress, but I wanted to share it as it shows the instrument in several ways:

The "acoustic" is my 2010 Mojo (finger played), as is the rhythm part.
The solo is on my 2006 Mojo with the Dimarzio in the bridge.

It's very much a "pop" song, which is outside my normal playing / writing style, but I liked the sound of the initial vox / drum loop and couldn't stay away from it.

Oh, I put together the arrangement for this and wrote the music beyond the initial inspiration - the singer had the first verse / chorus and the initial drum part. He's now working on the rest of the lyrics and vocal arrangement and then I'll redo the arrangment and mixdown after that.
