What are pre-refined Artists going for?
« on: September 20, 2011, 09:33:34 PM »
I have a pre-refined Fly Artist I'm thinking of selling,
as I seem to get along better with my Fly Mojo.
1999 Artist, Spruce, butterscotch, some minor paint dings, no case candy, no trem bar,
set up for 10s, Parker gig bag.
They don't come up on Ebay often enough for me to get a feel for the going price.
Any ideas? I'm looking for somewhere between "a steal", and "this will never sell" [:)]

The last two did not sell. They were asking, unbelievably, just under $1600!

Actually there was one on Ebay that was mis-labelled a "gold Deluxe" - that one sold for around $1700.

The Artist that Scan man referred to sold for $1778 with old style hardcase and all original paraphenalia. It was in perfectly new condition. Subtract the cost for everything you don't have in the sale plus the emotional hit for wear and tear and you should land on a reasonable price range.

I started out in life with nothing and still have most of it left!

see leaning bridge discussion and reply from parker in TECH TALK for flys and niteflys at least, manufactured 1993-2003 (30,000 guitars) or perhaps 1993-2009, jan. 20 , 2014, from billy t (parker senior spokesman)
