Very excited about this; can't wait for it to arrive.  Time to sell off the Stealth and one or two DF422s.  I'll keep the DF524 and DF622.

That's the one.  A 924 is just an 824 with the flame maple veneer.  Green's not really my color (I loves me some blue), but I was tired of waiting and couldn't pass it up.

Transparent colors over flame maple are real lookers. Very often people who aren't really that much into a certain color suddenly love the way they shine on wood veneer. I for one are no big fan of basic black or red guitars but if they are transparent over wood grain I like them a lot. That transparent shiny sparkly green is definitely a winner. Congratulations and don't forget to take your own photos as soon as you get it!

Greetings...
Nef

The photo looks like it's got fanned frets. Surely not??

Wow. What a work of art! This is a gorgeous instrument. The pros - as slick and well made as expected for a premium Parker. Feels great, light, smooth, sounds great. The cons - we already know about the switches, and the fret polishing isn't quite as smooth as my DF524, but I don't really think that's a con - it's at a very high level.  I think I just got lucky with the 524 that it either didn't need leveling or someone really polished it well.

It's funny - I still slightly prefer the organic feel of the 524, and the neck feels slightly chunkier on the 924. Probably just the different shape of the fretboard - the stealth is the same way. We'll see how I feel over time, but I have 2 awesome main axes now!

Congrads Jester.

Give it some time, them give us a comment about the differences in tone between the two.
