Looking very cool. Beautiful guitar. Wish I could use a thumb pick. I bet you can really dig into those bass string walk downs.

Well, I decided about 25 years ago to abandon the flatpick and adopt the thumbpick. Quite hard for the first few weeks, but it has some good advantages:
- you can play double stops, chords, riffs etc. on non-adjacent strings
- chords have all their notes sounding simultaneously, instead of being arpeggios (albeit very fast arpeggios)
- I never drop my pick [:)]
