Terry, I know you weren't around in the days when those 'old' Parker basses were made... but can you offer any explanation of why the company didn't come out with instruments like these back then? It appears that they could have. Those old basses just didn't seem right to me at all.

If it sounds as good as it looks it will be hard to resist. If I see one  in a shop I'm going to try it out.

I don't want one, I only play a few hours each year. I don't want one, I only play a few hours each year. I don't want one, I only play a few hours each year. [:D]

Will there be five strings too? [8)]

I really can't speak as to why Parker desiigned the bass they did. Ken worked on a different set of guidlines than most every one else so anything I say would just be speculation.

This is fantastic. I see a fretless in my future.

I'm really happy that Parker brought the basses back in proper fashion with full carbon. I prefer the traditional Fly shape over the MaxxFly for guitars, but I think the MaxxFly shape actually works really well here for a bass.

Between this and the 7-string, I may have to find a second job.

Man, I don't even play bass (other than the basic faculty that every guitar player should have), but I want one!  Great job, Terry!

There are absolutely gorgeous!  I can't wait to hear clips.
You should put one of these in Stanley Clarke's hands.  I'm sure he'd love this and make it SING!
