My Parker Guitars
« on: March 22, 2013, 09:41:10 PM »

Parker P-38(w/EMG SLV/SLV/85), NiteFly-SA(w/EMG SA/SA/89), Fly Classic
(After I took this photo, I installed the EMG Pi2 Phase Inverter Switches for 'Out of Phase' Tone on my NiteFly and P-38.)

Actually I've got one more NiteFly(NFV2), but unfortunately its neck was damaged. :-(
My favorite is NiteFly. They're very versatile!

I've been playing Parker Guitars since 1998. I really really like Parker Guitars!
I want to buy a 'Spanish/Nylon Fly' and one more 'NiteFly' someday!

Have a great day everyone!

Tell us about your fret board "in lays". Do they stick up enough to feel? Dammit, I want some dots.

Hello Bill!
Yes! They're all Inlay Stickers. I bought them at this online store.
http://www.inlaystickers.com/servlet/StoreFront

They're thinner than I thought.

Have a great day!

Hello Amagras!
Thank you very much!

Because of my poor English, I can't explain exactly the different feeling between them. :-(

They've got all Ash body, but they sound much different each other. I think the NiteFly has much richer and fatter tone than the P-38.
And I don't think the original pickups for the P-38 are not great. (So I changed them to EMG pickups.)
Anyway I think the P-38 is also well made guitar.

Actually, I like the sound of NiteFly even more than Fly's. (This is just my taste.)

Have a great weekend!

Sorry! I can't speak Spanish!
I recommend NiteFly-SA. I think P-38 is also well made guitar, but NiteFly is much better.
Although they resemble each other, have totally different tone.
Thank you!

Hello 'gisan111'!

I installed 2 EMG SA and a EMG 89 on my NiteFly-SA. I can select 2 modes('S/S/H' and 'S/S/S') with EMG 89.
And I installed EMG Pi2 to get 'Out Of Phase' Tone. So I can get 2 type of 'Half Tone('Simple Mix' or 'Out Of Phase'). It is selectable by its 2 way toggle switch.

I like EMG pickups, but I think the original Dimarzio pickups are also great. They've got great clean tone.

Have a nice day!
