I have a Parker PM20 and am trying to research the serial number so I can figure it's value.  The number is 04090355.  Can anyone help me?

... so I can figure it's value.

The date of manufacture is nice to know, but I don't think it influences the value much.

Anyway, here's my shot at it: With serial numbers of  04090355 and 05091699, I'd say the first two digits are almost certainly the year - 2004 and 2005; possibly the next two are the month - September; possibly the next two are the day of the month; and possibly the last two are the production number for that particular day (or week or month) or some other internal code. Most people would only care about knowing the year, really.
