maybe this is a silly question, but what is the significance of the model numbers with the p-series?  i know a p-36 is southern style and a p-38 is nitefly style but are these random numbers or is there a story?  am i the only one who doesn't know or am i the only one who wonders about stuff like this?

thanks

Yeah, I was curious about that too. Do the numbers have some meaning? Also why did they discontinue the P-38?[:(]

When the P-Series first came out, they named them after WWII fighter aircraft.  I guess it was a play on "Fly".  So, you have the P44, P40, P38, and now the P36.

so hypothetically, if parker made an import bass, would it be a b-29 or something? [:)]

my favorite design (of planes) was the p-51 (mustang), think there will ever be a parker p-51?  if so, i hope it's a good one!  (have no doubts that it would be anyway [;)])

you know, that is a very interesting piece of trivia!  thanks!
