Parker Event P8E review
« on: January 08, 2006, 03:04:23 PM »
Just read the review on the new acoustic in guitar player magazine.
Congratulations, Parker!

I wasnt sure where to post this, since there is no acoustic section, so custom Parkers seemed appropriate.

I think this is an awesome looking guitar. Probably one of the best Ive ever seen. Im not really looking for an acoustic six string right now since my Parkers & Shadows have piezos, but if I ever feel like getting one Ill look Parkers way!

Oh...Whens my 12 string coming? Ill buy that right away. Like, now.

Just got it in the mail friday...Guitar player. And that TC Electronics G-system they reviewed will be mine soon too. Ive been lusting over that for months. Just waiting for them to iron out the glitches Ive been hearing about.

mmmm imagine a P8E/GK now that seems like a signature custom shop for me.
*wipes drool from chin*
I wonder if custom options will be available? GP mag reports the P8E is made in china so it may not even hit the North american Parker factory at all.

I didnt realize it was made overseas. Just assumed it was an american model. I wonder how the quality control will be? Does anyone know if they are made in the same asian factory as the P series? Or is it some other ghost builder?

It is made in the Grand Reward factory.  I brought it to Dealers for the first time this week and they were all over it.  I brought to Dealers whose opinions I really value.  This guitar is a winner - no doubt.  It has great tone and awesome playability.  Of course, I get paid to say that - just made another 25 cents!!!

I can't wait to try one out!

Taylor 810CE
Warwick Thumb 5
soon:Parker Fly Custom
2005 Parker Fly Classic, transparent cherry.
2006 Parker Fly Custom, majik blue.

You could spend forever picking the right amp for each string.
