My first project guitar
« on: September 15, 2014, 06:08:14 AM »
This is my first attempt at a project guitar, I used a pdf60. I stripped the body paint and did a wood stain. Light scorching to add a withered look. I ended up making a hairline crack over the cavity, luckily it did not go all the way through. I did a bit of overkill with the wood filler, but the polyurethane is covering it up nicely. The included picture is pre polyurethane, I'm gonna do 4 coats total, so I'll finish tonight. So far My bareknuckle blackhawk is on back order, so itll be two weeks before I can put it in. But this is a start.

Cool.  How'd you strip it?
