I was at the Vancouver Guitar Show this weekend, casting my gaze over many beauties, but, alas, no Parkers in evidence intially...

However, I heard someone shredding like a man gone crazed on the stage and as I turned around, lo and behold, its Dave Martone with a Parker.

darn fine work on his part!

i've noticed that surprisingly few stores stock parkers.  some of the big giant chains say they stock them but then when you get there, you don't see any.  maybe us music corp could start pushing it's dealers a little harder to stay in stock.

that's really cool to run into an unexpected show by a favorite artist.  i want to see martone play one of these days.

I'd never seen him before, nor had I ever really heard of him, ie, I only found out this am he's from Vancouver!

But, ya, wow, what a player.

I know Long & McQuade had some manner of scrap with Parker pre-US Music Corp that resulted in none being available in Canada through them. So far, a few P series have trickled into Tom Lee (blech on Ps, sorry Parker!) and I talked with a Tom Lee rep yesterday that said the higher end ones were on their way. Me, I wanna trade/sell an older one of my Parkers towards a Mojo soon.
