I like the band Swifty - too bad it's a still pix.

And Dave, don't worry, I practice "Safe Sax"

Unfortunately, due to the impromptu nature of the now legendary "Rooftop Concert" there is little documentation to be found.

The fans, however, had a great time...

You're just jealous because you don't have a cool air guitar.

Well, i'll stop in a minute, promise, however....

The "Rooftop Concert" was to be their last public appearance. After some time spent travelling in the further reaches of Asia, things started to get decidedly a little weird.....

Go on, ask me where i got the pics from....

Wow!
Those "airweights" look like incredible guitars!

Glad to see that the "KISS on acid" tribute band is still rocking it!

Do they make a travel version of those axes?

Do they come with a hard shell mailing tube?

Can I get one with a trem?

Cheers!

Of course you can get one with a trem!  Look at the pics--two of them have locking nuts, and one definitely appears to have a Pink Floyd (or Floyd something, I forget) type trem.  The kind that works without a bar.

I don't suppose that they have anything to do with Circus Oz, do they?

No, nothing to do with Oz, I'm not really involved with those guys at the moment.

The dude in the photo's is a, ummm, "professional associate" of mine, known him for many years, a jester/clown kinda character who lives the life so fully the lines are completely blurred.

By happenstance, he posted a couple of those blowup guitar pics on his Facebook page just as this ballooning (Ha!) thread was gaining traction, so i asked him if i could use some of his snaps. He responded by sending me a truckload of 'em, for such is his way.

All the circus mob in Australia know him, or of him; i think he still holds the record for the longest running solo performance at the Tasmanian Circus Festival, like over 24 hrs, once he starts, there aint no stopping him!

He's been in the USA for the last few years , sometimes landing great gigs, sometimes sleeping in his car, his whole life is like a piece of really whacky performance art.

Anyways, he goes by the name of Jolly Goodfellow (legally, it's in his passport) and i recommend checking out his Facebook page, scroll through the photos, it's interesting....
