IMHO
The flys and pdf and a couple df series I’ve played, have shred necks, that is thin sleek low “D” profiles and the newer models tend to be a bit thicker.
I find the “venerable” SG’s to have a slab like neck width and flat profile.
No opinion on nitefly or mojos since I’ve never had the chance to play.
My old construction worker fingers fit best on the Parker profiles even the PM 20 is very decent for me.

I realize that this thread is quite old (and my apologies if this late post is not the proper decorum), but I wanted to contribute for posterity's sake:

I measured the neck thickness of my Flys at the first fret and my '97 Fly Concert, 03' Fly Classic, and '05 Fly Mojo all have the same neck profile and are noticeably slimmer than my '07 Fly Deluxe and my '08 Fly Mojo. I always thought my "later year production" Flys felt chunkier, but never measured them because I thought, in principle, all Fly necks were the same (or very similar) profile. It seems to be the case, for me, that my "newer" Fly neck profiles are, in fact, thicker by more than 1/8".

As the original creator of this thread I have no issues with you answering this late especially since your post contained such relevant content.

Welcome and thank you for the info!

My experience the same.  I have a 1994 Deluxe and a 2004 Classic, and both have identical dimensions.  My 2008 Deluxe, on the other hand, is 1mm wider at the nut and the 12th fret, and 1 to 1.5 mm deeper.  Definitely a chunkier, more 'standard' kind of feel in this later production Fly.

1998 Fly Deluxe (Plum)
1999 Fly Deluxe (Green)
2006 Refined Fly Classic (Natural)
2008 Refined Fly Deluxe (Heather Grey)

1999 NiteFly NVF7 (Black)
2000 NiteFly SA (Transparent Blue)
2006 NiteFly M (Oil & Wax)
2006 NiteFly SA (Sunburst)

Yarp !

I concur, yet still very “shreddy” (is that a word? It is now!)

Aww he’ll it’s Friday going “Woodsheddin’” songs this weekend,
( think Dwight Yoakam and friends in the movie “Slingblade” but without any mayhem or talent!!)
Hope ya’ll get some picking time in too.
Cheers!
