« on: June 26, 2014, 12:12:01 PM »
I am looking at a Parker P8E, Ser. #051208006. Can anyone tell me how to decipher this? Also, what is the history of the P8E? When did they first start making them? When were they discontinued? Thanks.

Fly Mojo Natural Mahogany, Fly Mojo Four Seasons Summer, Casio WK7500 Keyboard Workstation, Roland, Peavey and Fender Amps.

Not sure, but my brother has one, LOVES it. Keeps trying to find a backup. $500-1000 seems to be the going price used.  Plays great.  It's imported and only had a short run I think. Maybe someone else can give exact dates.

I have a p10e and have a friend who scoured the eBay world to find one, he paid 770 for the eqs. Very limited run, they were in the catalogue longer than they were made. I bought mine in 2009 and it was discontinued three months later. Great guitar my only warning is you can't replace the electronics.  My piezo went out and the solder joint on the preamp literally fell off.i ended up shipping the preamp to a circuit board repair guy.  Also the frets wear out fast, which is a pain
I have guitars, most are beyond my playing level, but I love them all!
