NGD: Custom Shop Parker 6
« on: January 31, 2014, 12:17:00 PM »
Big thank you to Dan for selling this guitar to me.  He is easy to work with and a stand up guy, the guitar arrived as described and I would not hesitate to buy from him!

Anyways, just like my 7 string, quality is off the charts and IMO, Parker makes one of the best guitars money can buy.

Tonally it sounds a bit more refined than the parker 7 I have and definitely brighter but not in a bad way.  It weights 4-5 lbs TOPS and is ultra comfy!

Anyways, pics:

What a beauty... congratulations! A very interesting, minimalist design... you are clearly a player who knows exactly what he wants.

Hoping mine will show up soon...

Dan is the one that ordered it.  I dig the white with the minimalist features, reminds of a super futuristic racecar or something.

What are the specs on yours?

Mine will be a current DF824 as-is, with the custom lime gold finish. Here's a link to an older version; it was this one that made me want the lime gold!

Great color choice and guitar choice.  My first Parker was a DF824 in grey, killer guitar and got me addicted haha.

Auto pitch....pure laziness in my opinion, if you want something that plays perfect everytime get guitar hero instead. For real players even if it auto pitches the signal you can feel the slack in the string making it uncomfortable from a playability stand point. My experience is that these guitars rarely need to be tuned often provided they are set up properly during a string change, still won't help if you break a string on stage...
