Shazrock.... Hello?
« on: December 17, 2015, 11:09:22 PM »
Are Lisa and Sharon still up and running?  I've got like 5 parkers I would like them to paint but I cannot seem to get ahold of them via email. Anyone have luck contacting them?

I got email from Lisa a few months back and she mentioned that they had a large back log.
She has also been on here a little responding to others.
It might take some time for a reply, they're busy because they're the best.

Lisa was on in September of 2015, but if you click their names,  not much action.  Sharon not since 2014.

Sharon is busy.  I just had a guitar in her shop and spoke to her.  She had 74 guitars in the shop!!!
I just got the instrument a few weeks ago.  Not only flawless, perfect!  Sharon is amazing.

One of my Parker projects I want a non Parker color,  so maybe I'll start with my local guy and hold out on the traditional Parker stuff if Sharon or Lisa ever get back to me.

I got a price quote from them about six weeks ago - they are doing fine, just busy.

Sharon is still going strong and doing great work -- but as mentioned, very busy so quite the wait time, but the results are worth it --

Here's the original (Bronze Fly)

And after Sharon finishing (except for one more clear coat) --

I think I'll name it Mullet -- business in the front, party in the back (which is a multi-reflective paint) ;)

Going to install a GhostTech system, a la the "Dayn Tangerine"

Did you try calling?  That's really the only way I reached Sharon.

I also wanted to get a Fly refinished. I tried for quite sometime to contact Shazrock - with no results. When I finally got them on the phone, I was told, in so many words, that they were too busy and really didn't have the time for new business!

I just got mine back from www.MartyBellFinishing.com
It looks and plays fantastic. Now I got a Fly that is pretty unique in all silver sparkle! His finish is awesome! And his turn around time is really quick!
Highly recommend Marty Bell.

Understandable --- my "local guy" (former head of finishing at PRS) is that busy too. They take contracts with small guitar companies to do their finishing (and have a steady income). As these guitars get popular, the finishers get backed up.
