Bridge adjustment needed?
« on: April 22, 2016, 03:54:35 PM »
Hey everyone I am sure this topic has been covered (didn't feel like reading though all these post to look for it!) anyways long story short I am switching strings gauges from .010 to .011 on my Parker PDF 60 guitar, its reasonably priced guitar and I want to be able to do my own maintenance and pickups. Anyhoo my question, will I need to adjust the floating bridge to accommodate the higher string tension and how do I put the bridge in a "fixed" position? Someone told me I will need to adjust the bridge and string one at a time but I also want to clean my guitar so I want to get all these strings off beforehand? I have seen a few videos online but nothing that I am really looking for. Help would be appreciated thanks guys!

Traditional claw and spring. Just add another spring or get heavier ones. The pdf series are not like the USA Parker guitars.
