The Original Parker Plant From 2004
« on: July 16, 2016, 12:43:23 AM »
Hi, folks!

My name is Glen, and I was a woodworker at the original Parker Guitars plant in Wilmington, MA, from 1995 until 2004.  After we were bought by US Music, a film crew came in to interview us about our experiences working for Parker.  We were all told that we would receive a copy of the video as a "farewell" gift.  That unfortunately did not materialize.

These days I work for Fishman, and yesterday I found a flash drive on my desk labeled "Parker Video, From Larry."

As I feel a lot of you would be interested in seeing this, and in hopes that I'm not violating any copyrights, please enjoy.

Thank you for sharing.  Really appreciate seeing the care that went into building and gives me an even greater appreciation on the ones fortunate enough to own!

Glen
Great video!
Thanks very much for posting it.
I wasn't going to watch it just yet but I couldn't stop once I started, great!

Thanks too for building my '97 Fly, they are stellar guitars.

I'm a woodworker as well so I appreciate the work involved.

Cheers!

This is the kind of stuff I consider golden. I have such a connection to my early Parkers that seeing something like this is golden. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for posting this. You all seem like a passionate group, and it shows in the guitars you built.
