A couple of probs
« on: February 04, 2006, 11:06:15 AM »
Hey all,

Ive got a few questions regarding the sound of my '95 deluxe which someone can hopefully shed some light on.

When i first plug the guitar in the pickups sound non-existant and quiet and i have to give it a minute and move all the pickup switches about for it to get loud and evil. Whats this all about?

When the pickups 'warm up' so to speak, i then get a horrible buzzing sound whenever i touch the strings. Am i sitting too close to an electronic signal or something?

Thanks
