I would think you will probably be paying at least. $2000 for one.

I know, I was negotiating for that one, and it was a near miss!
I'm primarily a classical player (but also own Fly electrics): the frustrating thing for me is that the Spanish/Nylon weren't made with a full 52, or at least 50 mm nut width — unless someone specified this, since they were all effectively 'custom shop'.
My other concern is that the very slight break angle at the the nut isn't ideal for the lower tension of nylon strings.
Nevertheless, I love the design, and am intrigued as to how I might use it, musically speaking!

I would expect to pay $2000–2400 USD for one in very good condition — perhaps slightly more for a 52mm nut (which I've not seen so far).

When I made an enquiry with Parker about a custom order a few years ago was just when things were shutting down. :(

That's a bummer.   I've missed a couple of special Flys myself, not a great feeling.
Good luck finding one !

That 'Spanish' Fly has now been relisted, having been returned by the first buyer due to significant finish damage (chips, dents, scratches) conveniently omitted from the Reverb photos.
I've found out that this exact guitar was offered for sale on this forum in 2011, when the dings were shown! It apparently didn't sell at that time.
The current seller, Capital City Guitars, is now chancing it once again, with very "selective" description and photos. Be warned!

Thanks; I was going to add that link after digging it out again!
I'm now glad that didn't buy it a couple of weeks ago for the price I'd offered.

Thanks for the heads up, Chris.  I had a similar experience recently buying an Artist on Reverb.com.  I ended up returning it for exactly the same reason; the seller described all the good, but not enough of the bad and the ugly.  So I had higher expectations and was immediately let down when the guitar arrived.

Syber, thanks for posting links.  It's very interesting to see the differences in how the same guitar is advertised.  I wish every seller would give clear, close up photos of the dings like Philonius had done.
