Repair or Original?
« on: July 02, 2017, 07:17:22 PM »
Hi everyone.
Just picked up a '95 Deluxe hardtail, which by the way, is awesome!
I was wondering if anyone has ever seen the neck/fretboard line painted?  As you may be able to see in my picture, there is about 1/8" strip of black paint at the edge of the fretboard.

I've only seen a few Flys in person, and none had this.  I thought maybe it was a fret board delamination repair.  If so, it seems to have been done professionally, maybe even at the factory because of how perfect it is.

I've never seen it either. Looks neat, almost like the fret board is a little thicker.
I have guitars, most are beyond my playing level, but I love them all!
