New Parker guitars only in Poland??
« on: July 26, 2017, 07:23:44 PM »
Hello, I'm new to this forum, and relatively new to Parker guitars, although I've certainly heard of Parkers guitar for many years, but I've never owned one myself.  I recently found an ad for a used PM24Pro, and I got curious and started searching for more info on this model and Parker guitars in general.  And according to the info I could find, it seems that Parker stopped their guitar production years ago, and searching various big, well-known guitar dealers in US and Europe, seemed to confirm this; none of them have any Parkers in stock anymore. BUT: Supersound.pl in Poland apparently have around 40 new Parker models in stock :-O ?! Could someone please explain this..?

A couple of years, roughly.

You should probably ask Supersound.pl to explain it. It's possible that they acquired a lot of inventory before the factory closure, and 40 instruments are still sitting there.

Most likely "new old stock" from the last year of production. Very reasonably priced too. Should be interesting for potential European customers.

Greetings...

Would be interesting for any customer.  A new Southern Nitefly for $1600?  Wow.

Looks like they got one of everything!

Those pm20's with 3 a side tuners, a 5 string bass...

Wonder if they actually have this stuff in stock, or they just haven't updated the website type thing..

Thanks guys!!! I read this thread the other day and contacted Supersound in Poland.  They had a few of the instruments listed, but only two USA-made guitars, a new NiteFly M B-stock (with a slight blemish) and a new NiteFly SA.  Before I could make my order, someone snapped up the M and only the SA was left. I wasn't crazy about red, but I asked them to send me some pix of the actual guitar and it looked new and awesome (it's translucent red not just solid red and the grain shows through nicely and the color is very dark red, almost a burgundy).  They told me the case was cracked but the guitar was new, so I said ok and just picked it up at UPS near the airport (I'm over in Europe, although not Poland).  Some of the Polish girls that work with me helped me figure out which ones were in stock or on order (not sure what that means). The guitar is so cool and the color and finish is flawless.  Anyway, they have a few others, but they aren't USA-made.  I still need to get a case, but I think I will just get a gig bag.  How are the Parker gig bags and are they available anywhere?  I will probably just buy a Mono guitar sleeve or a Reunion Blues RBX and store the guitar in the cracked case at home.  I'm also thinking about two of the non-USA models for my two little guys.  Are those decent?  The prices are definitely good.
