WTB: Solar Flare Fly
« on: August 15, 2017, 04:28:11 PM »
Good day Parker Friends,
I have come to the conclusion that my life will be incomplete until I add a Solar Flare Fly to my collection. I realize there aren't very many of them (I just missed one on Reverb about 6 months ago) but I thought I'd post this here in case someone comes across one in a music store somewhere or perhaps a seller is smart enough to find this forum.

Appreciate you keeping your eyes open! Rock on.

Solar flare!
I'm with you! I like those flare paint jobs.
Indeed if I had unlimited funding that would be a worthy quest.
Good luck

I have the Parker itch again. I love my maxxfly 7 string but I really want spanish/fly. There is a bronze fly on reverb now and I was going to get it but I decided to hold out until a nylon shows up.

Joe,
Patience is a virtue .. there's a rather small pool of Parkers and most of them will never be sold. : )

But sometimes the planets line up and amazing deals occur. That's what happened to me a year ago when I had been searching for a 'beater' Fly for a project. I happened to see someone selling one only 2 hours away from me and was able to drive to pick it up at a great price.  : )

Cheers, and good luck!

Just in case anyone is unsure of what a Solar Flare Fly looks like, check out this Reverb listing.
