PARKER PDF60 TRUSS ROD
« on: November 27, 2017, 07:23:18 AM »
Hello
I have a PDF60
need to adjust some back bow in the neck
didnt come with any wrenches
so far ive tried a 5/32 which goes in but just spins around and a 4mm which again goes in and just spins with a little more tightness, a 5mm wont fit.

anyone know the exact size? im getting scared a 4.5mm may not fit when i eventually find one.
really hope previous owner didnt round the hex nut, looks ok from my eye but getting nervous now.
Checked the PDF user manual and it just says, different models had different sizes so no help at all there, and im sure contacting parker wont help much either.
Need someone here who has actually got a PDF and done truss work, must be lots im sure. :)

Just posted on another thread-

you might need a t-27 torx wrench, or close to it.  It looks like an allen wrench but has a star pattern instead.

Try your local automotive store or online- a set should be around $10 or less.
