How in the world did you find out about the possibility of an Adrian Belew model???  The reality is that, while we are working with Adrian, we are not yet ready to discuss any particulars.  However, I promise you that this forum will be the first to know through the Announcements section.

Reeves is endorsed by Fernandes and has his own model (RG-13) that can be custom-made.  Per the liner notes of his new Rockonica CD, he does list Parker as a company whose product he still uses.  Unfortunately, all live shots of him consist of him playing his Fernandes RG-13 or his Barkwood Guitars custom.

Hi -

Adrian mentions it briefly on his website - where there is also a nice pic of him playing his current Parker in front of his extensive amp rig !
The one thing I thing is missing from the Parker range (since the demise of MidiAxe) - is a guitar-synth-drivable model - so the possibility of the Belew model is of real interest to me. I currently play Brian Moore and Godin guitars (with RMC piezo driven - 13-pin synth outputs) - but the idea of having something equivalent on a Parker makes great sense to me - esp given the 6-channel piezo is already on board the bridge.

Perhaps I'm blind, but I do not see a mention on his site.  If you are talking about the front page of adrianbelew.net, it says:

"ken snapped this photo of adrian today after rearranging the studio to make room for the ongoing drum and bass auditions."

and...

"adrian switches to parker guitars 12/18/04
adrian is now endorsing Parker Guitars.  Check 'em out.  And look for Adrian in the gallery."

Unless there is something in the Big Electric Chat, there is no mention of an AB model...just the fact that he is now endorsing PG and to look for Adrian in the gallery (meaning, his pic on the Artist page).  Am I missing something?

I've got a old issue (1996) of a guitar magazine that features Bowie and Gabrels on the front cover. Reeves is holding his custom Parker Nitefly. The guitar looks stunning ( a little too busy for my tastes). It's covered with ornament and illustrations. Very cool.

Maybe I should scan the cover and post it for viewing??

RG's custom NiteFly was a prototype that Ken sent him.  Per Ken, it was an unfinished mahogany and was not really meant for playing/gigging.  Reeves then took items that he gathered while on tour (people throwing things on stage) and pasted them on the guitar as well as various drawings on the body.  It is called "brown dog" by Ken after RG's unfinished 1956 Les Paul Jr.

Geez...think I know enough about RG or what?!?!?!

I might be going nuts - but I saw some more details either via link to an interview on belew.net - or it may be a very recent issue of Guitar Player or Guitarist (UK) where  Ade mentions he is talking to Parker about a synth/Sustainer equipped model - which he suggests will be the "Ferrari" of guitars - i.e do just about everything.
I hope I am not dreaming - because itf it comes off - it sounds like my ideal guitar !
