which Nitefly is this?
« on: February 13, 2019, 07:34:31 AM »
Hi, just bought this for €1450

https://reverb.com/be/item/11567393-parker-rf622-nite-fly-2005

Advertised as a RF622 2550, but it seems it's not.
Any idea what it is, and its actual worth?

It's a beautiful guitar but it is not necessarily worth what you paid for.  Niteflys sell for around $800-$1200 in the US with the $1200 being in top condition.
You paid the price for a used Fly Deluxe in good condition.

As a note, the description talks about graph tech saddles, but that's not what is on this guitar.

Definitely not a RF622.

2550? I think you meant 2005. That part is probably correct.

The seller's description (copied from Parker literature) is for a completely different model made much more recently.

Looks like a NiteFly-SA in Transparent Red. The market value presumably depends on your location, but that one appears to be at the high end.

Here's a previous sale of the same model:

thanks.  It's a nfvsa-TR, indeed.   So, I probably did pay a little too much.  They do go for more in the EU though, it seems.
The seller was prepared to take it back when I confronted him with the mistake.
Still, the best guitar I've ever played, so I'm just going to enjoy it.

Every time I play my Nitefly I think its the best 22 fret guitar ever made. There is always more money, but when you find a guitar you like, its much better than money.
