I recently replaced the ball type piezo Fishman saddles in my early 2000s Nitefly with the Graphtec Ghost saddles, connecting them to the original Fishman Powerchip.

The combination works, but I am finding it hard to boost the acoustic level up to the same output as the magnetic pickups.  The Ghost saddles' output appears to be lower than that of the Fishmans which I could previously set to equal the magnetic pickup output.

I have adjusted the trimpot on the Powerchip to the loudest setting and there is still a noticeable volume drop when switching from magnetic to piezo pickups.

I've lowered the mag pickup heights which has helped and I can back off the volume obviously, but I'd rather raise the piezo level than reduce the magnetic pickup output which has negative consequences down the signal chain.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, do you have any tips I can try?
