people with more stars (like me) have either been here longer (like mr. page) or blabber a lot (like me).  gold stars are for administrators and silver stars are for moderators (i think), every other color is for the rest of us.

I feel a bit peaked when reflecting upon the journey to my advanced stardom such as it is.

You might have the record for the quickest to five stars. I wonder if the data base search can find out?[;)][:o)][:D]

HEY YOUSE GUITARS! DROP DOWN! TOO LIGHT TO FALL? Okay, I'll settle for a couple of amplifiers. They look weighty.

Nope. A phoenix, rising from dormancy. I joined 11/05 and as of 9/07 had  something like 14 posts (all top drawer stuff, by the by), but then happened to cruise through my eBay favorite of 'parker fly' in the musical instruments cat. A nylon fly up, and situated only an hour away via V12 or inline 4 conveyance. I bit down and held on. The rest is documented to a (feverish) degree.

Eruction, while not in my league, bless his heart, has quite a path to follow. At this point, I don't expect to ever become the alltime posting champ, esp. when you consider a certain individual's exploits in related realms--what a mighty total!--but it did occur to me to sneak over to the test section and post-delete, post-delete, post-delete ad infinitum. The post numbers stay, it seems, but of course the posts vanish. Give it a shot, but watch out for that carpal tunnel--not a place to inhabit.

I thought it was amazing when I hit 500. I waited for my pizza but it never came. I was later informed it was sent to John Rooker by mistake! Not that I really needed a pizza! And then I thought to myself - "I've never had 500 thoughts to contribute to anything in my whole life" Considering that I felt it was somewhat of a miracle, that I had obtained the 500 mark. But going back and reading my posts, I gathered there weren't too many thoughts to be had! Now that I've surpassed 2,000, my hope is that along the way someone has found value in one or two of my posts! [:)]

They need more stars or more colors. Most of us have been green stars for a long while.
