I am sure a lot of you experienced guys have played with this but its a first for me.

I plugged the mags into my sons base amp (ampeg B100R rocket).

It was neat but a little on the muddy side.

But then I blended it into the mixed mode. Primarily used Piezo and slowly turned up the mags volume thru the base amp for a back up blend. Wow it sounded great.[:)]

I avoided blending the mags and piezos for the longest time. The first attempt was an unpleasant and startling change in tone that I wasn't comfortable with. After reading some posts by other players, I started experimenting with it. My best results come from keeping the piezos well in back of the mags, but just enough to sparkle it up some.1997 Sunburst Nitefly SA
