When I got my Deluxe, I thought the NF may have had to go to fund it, but I came to realise that I had made it mine by putting the effort into modding it to make it what would be my signature NF, if you wonder which I love the most, I love them both the same, for their individual aspects that not only sets them apart from any other guitar, but sets them apart from each other.

LA65C = great acoustic amp for the money, really is, though I have nothing other than my Peavey electric amp to compare it to, and considering how good I thought the piezo sounded throught that, I was blown away by the clarity of the Laney, it's extremely well built and sonically brilliant at any volume, I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an acoustic amp under $200

i may have to go and try one out on your recommendation, i tried the AER compact 60 and was blown away. in my experience laney's have always been a good amp to have. Although im off to try a couple cornfords in 2 weeks when my parker has arrived

where are you situated in the uk?

Sheffield (which makes it hard to resist that '97 Fly deluxe that's on ebay under $700 at the moment - but I can't afford it and have to remind myself that :-P), where abouts are you like?

i know, im so temped by it also, shame my redundancy money isnt coming to us til i finish in 2 weeks :-( the guy has sold a fair few parkers before also. still the money is going towards the amp.

i live on the outskirts of cambridge, well about half an hour drive anyway! was up sheffield way last august to see the rolling stones! fantastic night that was!

just out of interest, are both your parkers setup with the same gauge strings and into the same tunings or do you alternate them? also what style of music do you generally play?

I string both of them with Elixir 10's standard tuning (occasionally I'll have one of them a half step down).  I like to play modern punk/rock and indie mainly, bit of emo stuff too, the Nitefly is my more indie sounding guitar though, can get a bit more of a twangy fender-esque sound from it with it's modded pickups.  In the process of getting a band going, just need to get a drummer sorted really.  Just noticed yours is arriving tomorrow, bet you can't wait, seems to have been a while coming as well.  What sort of stuff do you play?

i have my gibson setup to 11's to 52's tuned to D, my ibanez has 12 to 54's tuned to C sharp, both are d'addario strings. My parker will be using the 9's and in standard tuning. i generally play alot of prog-metal/rock and death metal. i also like to play a bit of blues although im not the best at that! im a huge fan of Dream theater, Porcupine tree, Opeth, Stevie ray vaughan, dark tranquillity, So  i kinda try to learn some of thier stuff also. Drummers are sometimes very hard to find. we had alot of trouble finding one that was reliable. So in the end i took up drums and realised i was good at it, so i currently play drums in my main band, but i am trying to form a 2nd so that i can play guitar.

yup if sound tech are to thier word, the guitar should be arriving friday, i'm not getting my hopes up since there has been so much ****ups with them. lets hope its gonna happen this time. ill be posting pics online soon after it arrives
