I posted him before and got no takers so I'm trying his version of the Stones classic Gimme Shelter. It's not very adventurous guitar wise by his standards, but as a package with his singing it's goosebump material.
This, by the way, is Andy Mckees main influence.

Looks like everyone is in an acoustic mood lately, eh? :). Michael was an amazing player... and I agree about his voice. Thanks a lot for the link! I'm gonna spend the next hours checking those videos out... cheers!

I am a big Hedges fan. I have enjoyed trying his style on my acoustic guitars...would love to see more of his creativity expressed on a Fly. With my RMC equipped Fly on the way and some Roland gear, I am going to access those alternate tunings and give it a whirl!

About fifteen years ago, I saw a bootleg video Michael Hedges doing some bizarre stuff on a Steinberger with a transtrem. Right in the middle of the song he changed the whole key without stopping. It was the only time I ever saw him with an electric. I would love to see that video again. I learned eleven small roaches and after five years of woodshedding I can play it at half speed.
