Pretty good show mostly. I like that it was live on a specific predetermined date. Shakes out the prima donas.(Except for Madonna)[B)]

I was glad to see John Mayer redeem himself after the grammy performance. The Police were much better too. Keth Urban/A.Keys were strong. Lots of pretty good performances actually.

All of a sudden I feel like Joan Rivers's daughter. No talent and critiquing everyone.[:I]

Anyway I would really have liked to hear the band put together by the scientests closed in at the South Pole Experimental station. Bet they were a hoot and awhootin. [:)]

Yeah the wrapper definitly took away from the performance. Even Sting looked over at him like,  " What a goof ? "

I will never understand the whole wrapping craze anyway.[?]

Shows rappers for what they are..... People who can't sing:)  And please, don't try to if you have no ear!  Kanye was horrible.  However, listening to SOS, reminded me of how many AMAZING songs that Sting has written.

Ruining an otherwise quality performance and lending ol' Sting a little street cred for the kiddies watching at home. [xx(]

Oh my... I was at work and missed The Police. A rapper? Really? Glad I missed that! Sounds like a wretched idea![:(]

Kanye DID seem as out of place as a shredder or a Metallica-type singer would be with the Police. Of course, I'll never understand why people like metal and death music... Usually ruins an otherwise good show. [;)][}:)][:D]

That WAS John Mayer playing up there with them, wasn't it? The camera was on him the first part of the song.

Hi Bob,
Yes, it was John Mayer.  I liked his playing earlier with Buddy Guy.  I used to sing Buddy Guy's version of "Money."  Or try to:)

I just watched it again and it just pisses me off. You've got a classic song being performed by 4 of the most talented musicians on the planet... THEN!... this idiot comes out and starts bouncing all over the place going "uh uh uh yeah yeah yeah you know what I'm sayin? you know what I'm sayin? uh uh uh yeah yeah yeah" WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????????

Is this required now to be accepted? What a joke and he probably THINKS he's actually in their league and adding something to that performance.

I'll shut up now before I REALLY say something...

Personally I'd choose hip hop over The Police any day. There's alot of rap that takes quite a bit of talent, even if some of you don't want to accept it [:I]

I don't support the mixing of hip hop and rock in such a way, but rest assured hip hop is legit. Like all music there is good and bad.

Bill,  the Antartica guys were terrible.  They did a pure amateur sounding crap pop punk rock junk tune.  It was supposedly 15 degrees below and they were standing outside in the snow lip syncing while penguins were running around. It was ridiculous.  I know everyones gonna say hey they're just a bunch of scientists but still it was dumb.
