pcb jumper question
« on: March 14, 2005, 04:06:40 AM »
Hi,

I have recently purchased a nitefly M and in the control cavity there is a small pcb with 2 sets of jumber pins by the piezo gain pot. The top two pins are currently shorted with a jumper and the bottom two are not.

Does anyone know what these are for or whether it is set up correctly?

That is the phase switch.  If the jumper is on the wrong two pins, then the piezos and mags will play out of phase from one another when the middle position is selected on the mag/piezo 3 way selector switch.  The jumper should be located on the two pins closest to the piezo gain knob.
