This is the one RPURDUE had an ad for in the classifieds.
He and I orginally had agreed to a trade but somebody trashed his car so he need the cash instead. He was kind enough to hold the guitar for me while I was arranging the sale of my strat.

Boy what a guitar! I loved the Classic and Deluxe I had before but this guitar with the hardtail and factory Duncan pickups is a different story altogether.
Through my very average Hot Rod Deluxe and pedal setup it has a great crunchy bottom end with a singing high end that is warmer than my other two Parkers. Bonus! The neck is a little fatter too!

I put it right to work at a church music rehearsal tonight. Wow. Very expressive. This is going to be fun.

Beautiful guitar Jazzrat. Alex is even drooling over the fatter neck.

Congratulations!  It's gorgeous.  I wonder how much of a difference the hardtail makes in terms of sound, sustain, etc?

Thanks. I'd have to have a trem version side by side so it's just my impression and it could be chalked up to the difference in individual guitars. To my ear anyway it seem to sustain a little more.
The tone difference I'd say is just the pickups.
One other definate difference though...
Because I rest my hand on the bridge there was always a little extraneous noise and rumble from the piezo on my trem Flys. With the hardtail that is way reduced. I like that a lot.
