The drummer should be shot. [xx(][xx(][xx(]

I don't care WHAT kind of guitar it is, I can't take much of that before meltdown.

Sorry, I'm sure there are a lot of people out there (and in here!) that will love it.  I'm just not one of 'em...

Count me as one in the "love it" file.

This is the first I've heard from the new album, and I like the direction- they've grown a lot, become a lot more progressive and experimental.

Good find, Kavan.  How was Wacken, btw?

I just don't get all this satanist nihilistic BS. It is one thing not to believe in god but another all together not to believe in being a decent human being. Seems decency isn't a virtue anymore.

Aker****e are also superb people, They may come across as heavy Satanic anti christianity. but they couldnt be further from it, jason mendonca the vocalist and guitarist, Dosent believe in a god or a Satan. Satanism means something differant to him,

Wacken was superb, infact it was so good i'm returning next year! i think if you can get across to germany i would recommend going. I'll sort out photos and i need to write a thread about it!

I like it as well,  lots of ideas going on in that one song, but it's never a bad thing for bands to experiment with their sound.

relax the world isn't coming to an end. It's just like a horror flick or psychological thriller movie it's simply another genre. It's an art form. Music and Media can be used to imagine and investigate all sides of the entire spectrum of human life. I could ramble on but I just think it's a ridiculous, unfounded generalization.

Don't take this the wrong way, but people that sound like howler monkeys when singing does not sound very artistic to me. [:0]

you mean like geddy lee and brian johnson[:o)]? one could argue but my opinion is it's dfferent strokes for different folks; just because it's not what you are accustomed too doesn't make it any less valid.

What's the point of "singing" if it's unintelligible? It's not singing anymore, it's just making noise.

it's just another "instrument". It's different, but doesn't mean it should be disregarded. If I recall alot of popular classic rock bands were shunned, however many have a big following. I'm positive alot of classical musicians were calling their music garbage as well.

"He's not singing with proper technique", "That's not how a guitar is supposed to be played" , "Those aren't even REAL chords".
