I'll bet you, say 25,000 bucks, that Ken would build one for you.[;)]

I believe the guitar that cy2989 was asking about was built by Michihiro Matsuda. I've seen his work at the Newport Guitar Festival. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a website. The Taz, BTW, was selling last year at Dream Guitars for 13k USD(not quite a 1/2 year of a college education). Don't know if it ever sold. The Olive Branch, estimated at somewhere around 30k USD, is still less than one year(tuition, books, room and board)at a private university in the US.

Nice work, looks like about the same price as a nice Froggy Bottom guitar.

Anybody here read the Fretboard Journal?

2005 Parker Fly Classic, transparent cherry.
2006 Parker Fly Custom, majik blue.

You could spend forever picking the right amp for each string.

More pics from the fretboard journal blog.

Compare the thicknesses of the Taz guitar and the Olive Branch

Check out the exquisite bridge and also notice how the neck is suspended above the top of the guitar.

Hey that's a different Olive Branch than the one we've previously seen!  This one is maple with snakewood details, the previous was glorious Koa.  How many has he made?  And does anyone know, seriously, what the price point on any of these is?

IIRC, the Olive Branch had a price tag of around $35,000.
