This is a Rainsong Jazzsong. All carbon fiber. With EMGs and Piezo.
They don't make them anymore and only about 100 were made.
I had it refretted with jumbo Stainless Steel frets and it's been Plekked. Plays like a dream with 12 guage strings - you wouldn't even know. The last picture shows a close of the carbon fibre material.

I know it's not a Parker but I am sure you guys won't mind me posting some pictures.

Pulkit,

I have ALWAYS wanted one of these!  Russ Freeman (the rippingtons) has a couple and they are amazing guitars.  Where did you get it?  Thanks so much for sharing these pictures.

I think that is very cool. Thanks for posting. I would love to hear it.

The Emerald acoustic guitar is also all carbon fiber(Alex has one and made me aware of them). It actually uses a Parker neck.

Of couse this hollow solid body of yours is a different animal. A true one of a kind. Very cool.

It looks like it's in perfect condition.  I would love to hear it if you have any recordings.  And if you ever think you have had enough of it, I would be willing give it a new home.

I will do some recording in 2008 as it will be New Year's resolution.
I plan on keeping this guitar in the family as a heirloom that hopefully will get passed down generations.

Well it's a plan and I am goona stick to it.

That is a beauty. I've been interested in RainSong for some time.
A friend has a CA (Composite Acoustics)dreadnaught that is very nice.

That is such a nice looking guitar!  I have always been enammered with Rainsong ever since I played one several years ago.  I wish I could get one!  Any chance of getting some soundclips posted?

I found out that Composite Acoustics is going to be making a guitar like this sometime this year.  I'm anxious to see what they come up with.  It's going to be based off their GX model pictured below but with an eccentric sound hole located at the upper bass bought.

Thanks!  For right now, would you have anything that you would compare the tone to?  I'm just curious, thanks a bunch!

Jim,

If you're interested Russ Freeman of the Rippingtons plays this guitar and has used it on a number of albums.  He used it on the song Summer Lovers from the Live Across America CD.  I know because I saw him perform the tune.  It's a great song and Russ plays some nice guitar.
