My first thought when I saw the carbon fiber closeup was 908ssp beaming happiness. Sure enough I scroll down and there he is. I played an acoustic Rainsong and was surprised how good it sounded.

Why EMGs on a Jazz guitar? Isn't that a bit odd?

Thanks Chris, I will definately check him out.  And Simon, EMG's are capable of a lot of really cool tones depending on the type you have.  I really like the passive ones they offer, like on the Epiphone Zakk Wylde Sig.  The guitar sounds great playing everything from his signature metal, to some really beautiful clean tones.  Just my opinion of course!

What's odd is that the material can be layed-up into pretty much any shape imaginable, given the mold, any arch or flare and yet its sooo square and precise it screams 'Stiff' cool no-doubt but it couldn't look anymore stiff.....

Yes it can and could be called stiff.  But imagine how stiff it looks when you have two of these.  Jeezzz.
I am drowning in stiffness.
