While this is completely understandable, a little guidance would be greatly appreciated.  If it would be possible to let us know which airport to fly into, and any hotels that are near the factory where you would feel okay having family stay (even if it's the obnoxious brother-in-law).  [;)][:p][:o)]

I may be able to procure several Lobster bibs for those with over-active salivary glands.  Ones with the little pocket at the bottom so the juices gather and don't just run down your pants... [:D]

Email sent too. Is 444 E. Courtland the Factory Address? Looks like a Crowne Plaza and an AmeriSuites at extremes of the price ranges close. Although, looks like the Crowne has a bar!

You can try Jet Blue jetblue.com into Ohare Airport, or you can always try going into Midway airport via Southwest southwest.com

Amerisuites will have a mini-kitchen (kitchenette?), includeing a full size fridge.  Conversely, if they're across the street, we could drink at the Crowne, then sleep at Amerisuites.  [;)][:p][:D]

Also, Amerisuites will have a "living room" for each room.  When I travel, I prefer those kind of accomodations.  (But keepin' it on the cheap.  [:I][:o)])

I'd suggest getting farther away from O'Hare. This would be a huge drop in hotel prices. I'd really recommend flying in from Midway on the southside of Chicago. Generally there are no delays there, but its a 2 hour drive to the factory. I'm about a half hour west of Midway, so you'd get to experience my drive to work.

I'm having a slight problem. When attempting to send an email to confirm my attendance, I get a message stating I don't have enough posts to email another member.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

So how far is the drive from Midway?  I'm fine spending a bit more on a room to save 4 hours in a car...

Larry, you should be able to mapquest midway airport to the 444 E. Courtland  Mandelein, IL 60060 factory address.

I just google mapped my trip and O'Hare is really close maybe 15 to 20 miles from the factory. But O'Hare is the busiest airport in the nation.

If I can deal with MIA (Miami International Airport), then I can cope with O'Hare.  [:0][:p]

Tell me about the bourbon Scott.  Please!  [;)][:p][:D]

As I see it, we will need as least 7 high-quality bourbons to provide an adequate variety. Think of it like tonal woods :) I tend more to single barrel, small-batch. Some of the best are seasonal releases as they don't make that many bottles and they get bought up very quickly, so I'll see what I can dig up in our timeframe. There are some great small-batch around that you just don't see often outside of KY area. Sometimes you can find them in a very well stocked store, but usually only Chicago :) or east coast.
