Any chance of this becoming an annual event?

JUST ONE MORE MONTH FROM TODAY!!!
Oh, man, I think my head is going to explode.  I cant' wait.  If this becomes an annual event, maybe Parker should publish an "Advent Calendar" or something.  Whew - okay, I'm better now.  Thanks.

I'm totally psyched too.  My wife is a riot; she just can't fathom it.  Every time I express my anticipation, she retorts "That's the saddest thing I've ever heard of!" [:0].  See, she can't picture taking a vacation by herself.  Me, I'm staying in Chicago until Sunday - I'm going to catch every bit of music I can, and enjoy Chicago to the hilt, whether I know a soul there or not!  [:p][:D]

Such is the life of a travelling salesman... [:0][:p][:D][8D][;)]

I'm getting very excited! Less than a month... BTW, Larry, I'm staying till Saturday, flying out around six pm or thereabouts. Many of my friends think I'm a total nerd to do this... but I just can't wait! I'll be like a kid in Wonka-land!

I am perfectly happy staying home. It takes a mighty big lever to get me to move. So my driving 5 hours to see the inside of another factory tells me I need my head examined.[:I]

yes, I'm with you Alex, totally crazy to drive 6 hours, but wouldn't miss it. I've only mentioned it to a couple friends, one who thought it was really cool and the other just looked at me like I was an nut for being excited about touring a factory. "Don't you build your own guitars? Don't you already know how to put them together? Don't you work for a manufacturing company? Why do you need to see guitars put together?" It's a Parker thing! You wouldn't understand, was the best I could do. Fortunately, my wife thinks it's pretty cool, so I'm set!

I call being the first alternate. I am a great understudy. I have been practicing my oohs and aaahs and the required silly pseudo-smart sounding questions. (Like, " What happens when your zipper gets caught in the vacum press")

So, if one of you gets sick or breaks a leg, please let me know.
And I'll be sending each of you a bag of my left over Halloween candy from 1996. I promise its still good.

BTW, I gave Larry 5 dollars to pull the fire alarm switch so I can see you guys file out of the factory on Google satellite.

I created some files for a Factory Tour T-Shirt.  I've uploaded these to the Photobucket Account I created for the forum in case you want to use them to make a T-Shirt (you can save them in full resolution by right clicking and doing "Save As").  They can be found here: http://s300.photobucket.com/albums/nn22/Parkerforum/

Let me know what you think!  [:p][:D][:0]

Back

Sleeve

I'm going to size the front and sleeve down some, but it's better to start with the resolution to allow you to do that.

I'll keep my mouth shut on this design [:0][:D]
This tour will be a nice start to my summer break and I am so looking forward to meeting you all.  Your personalities are infused into this forum and this seems to be a good group to tour the factory with (and pull an Oceans-9 [8D]).
