A question about Tangerine. There have been pre-Belew Flys with Tangerine finishes. The photos in my listing are some. One feature of the Belew is reported to be a 12-layer paint job. I'm wondering how to differentiate the two finishes. Also, will Tangerine be suspended for use on other models through the Custom Shop? These issues lead me to remove my "Belew exclusive" note from Tangerine.

I don't see the "Chrome" (for the Winter Fly) -- what's that color?

Any chance you can point me to a picture of the MPSB Metallic Purple Sunburst?

There are 2 tangerine color sku's. The metallic purple sunburst i missed before it went out to a dealer. think hot rod purple to black.
As for the Chrome, that is classified.

I wonder if there is a way to get color codes+company to get the right paint for touchups?

There are two colour-codes for Tangerine? Oh no... I'm assuming that that means they're two different colours (it seems obvious, but I have to ask).  I'm scared to ask what the difference is (out of anxiousness of what will show up at my neighborhood dealer).

The Adrian Belew model will have a different Tangerine than other models or Custom Shop orders. I gather that the colors will be the same, but that the Blew version will have more layers in the application.

I sincerely hope that you're right, Marco, whew. You've become quite the authority on colours - research goes a long way. Props on your great guide, too.

Well, I had just asked our resident factory man how to tell them apart, and he says "the sku." That seems to me to say that when you order the guitar, the color code will be the same, but the sku will indicate whether it is a 12-layer finish on an AB or the standard treatment on other models.
